MATERIALS LICENCE
Thank you for your interest in accessing the RELEASE information and resources (the "Materials") which is made available by The University of Queensland ABN 63 942 912 684("UQ"). Please read the terms and conditions relating to accessing the Materials carefully as they create important legal rights and obligations.
By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you agree to be bound by them. UQ may change these terms and conditions at its discretion and without notice. By continuing to use the Materials, you accept these terms and conditions as they apply from time to time.

1. UQ grants a non-exclusive licence to you to use/ make up to the selected number of copies of the Materials for a Permitted Purpose only on the terms set out in this licence (“Licence”).
“Permitted Purpose” means one of more of the following:
(a) use by medical professionals to assist patients to decrease and stop antidepressants by slow tapering of dosage, for clinical intervention and/or treatment of these patients;
(b) use by patients solely for their information and to share with their medical professionals;
(c) use by individual students and faculty in conducting academic and scholarly research, academic publishing or course preparation use as required course readings or viewings (accompanied by attribution to UQ as copyright owner of the Materials and a statement that use of the Materials is not permitted without entering into a licence from UQ); or
(d) academic presentations, or conferences (accompanied by attribution to UQ as copyright owner of the Materials and a statement that use of the Materials is not permitted without entering into a licence from UQ).
Except as set out above, you must not:
(a) publish the Materials;
(b) share or distribute the Materials;
(c) modify or adapt the Materials; or
(d) sublicence or sell the Materials.
Patients may only use the Materials under the supervision of their medical professionals.
2. It is your responsibility to immediately notify UQ if you become aware of or suspect that there has been any unauthorised use of the Materials.
3. This Licence is personal to you and you must not transfer or assign this Licence or grant any sub-licences to anyone.
4. You acknowledge that the intellectual property rights in the Materials, including copyright, is owned by UQ (or licensors to UQ).
5. The content of the Materials does not constitute medical advice. To the extent permitted by the law, UQ makes no representations about the Materials for particular patients.
6. UQ’s website may contain links to other sites over which UQ has no control. Those links are provided for your convenience only, and UQ is not responsible for their use, effect or content. By accessing these third party sites, you agree to any terms of access or use imposed by those sites. UQ does not endorse any material on third party sites and does not provide any warranty, or assume any responsibility regarding the quality, accuracy, source, merchantability, fitness for purpose or any other aspect of the material on those sites, nor does UQ warrant that material on other sites does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any other person.
7. To the full extent permitted by law, UQ is not liable to you for any special, incidental or indirect damages, economic consequential damages, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of revenue, loss of goodwill or loss of anticipated savings.
8. The relationship between the parties is that of licensor and licensee. Neither party may, without the prior written consent of the other, act as or represent that it is the agent or representative of the other.
9. The parties acknowledge that solely in relation to the subject matter of this Licence the whole of the agreement between the parties is contained in this Licence. This Licence will be governed by the laws of Queensland. No variation to this Licence shall be binding upon the parties unless that variation is in writing, and is signed by all the parties to this Licence.
10. If it is held by a court that:
(a) any part of this Licence is or would be void, voidable, illegal or unenforceable; or
(b) the application of any part of this Licence to any person or circumstances shall be or become invalid or unenforceable,
unless any part of this Licence were severed from this Licence, that part shall be severable and shall not affect the continued operation of the remaining terms of this Licence.
